Rize Skill Training

Programs built around
real outcomes.

Practical technology training for people ready to build real skills — and use those skills to do more of what they care about. Delivered across Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver area, with formats for community partners, organizations, and public learners. Accommodating all skill levels.

How learning works.

Workshops

Single sessions or short series running 90 minutes to half a day. Practical and focused, designed to deliver immediately useful skills. Available through community partnerships and on a public schedule.

Courses — in development

Multi-session programs running 4 to 6 hours total, designed to build something functional by the end — a workflow, a digital presence, or a grant-writing system. Delivered through organizational partnerships. The first of these is being built now; talk to us if you want to shape it.

Delivery options

  • Partnership delivery — we come to your organization, your space, your community.
  • Public schedule — open sessions anyone can register for.
  • Custom engagements — tailored programs for specific groups, industries, or cohorts.

Funded partnerships

Provincial and federal funding is available for many of these programs right now, particularly for digital skills and AI upskilling for specific communities. We can help identify what applies and work through the process alongside you.

Community

Community programs.

Technology should feel useful, understandable, and within reach. This section is for people and organizations that want more confidence, more safety, and more capacity in everyday digital life.

Workshop

Digital Literacy

Everyday technology skills that build real digital confidence. Most technology training assumes people already know the basics. This workshop starts from where people are and builds digital confidence with the tools they use most often — email, browsers, smartphones, video calling, online accounts, and more.

Good fit for

  • Seniors building comfort with everyday devices and online tools
  • Newcomers navigating digital services and online accounts
  • Community members returning to digital basics after time away
  • Organizations supporting participants with mixed experience levels

What you'll walk away with

  • Greater confidence using email, browsers, smartphones, and video calling
  • More independence managing online accounts and common digital tasks
  • A stronger foundation for continued learning at a comfortable pace

What's next

In development.

We are building one program at a time and doing each one properly. These are the areas in progress — if one of them is what your community needs, telling us now shapes how it gets built.

Online safety

Recognizing scams, phishing, and the newer wave of AI-assisted fraud — and knowing what to do about it.

Career and AI

Modern job searching, professional presence, and using AI tools without sounding like a machine wrote it.

Organizations and creatives

Multi-session courses for nonprofits, small teams, and creative professionals who want systems around their work.

Looking for something else?

If this is not quite the right fit, there is more. We offer one-on-one tutoring and mentorship for individuals who want personalized support, small group instruction for specific topics, and team training for organizations with particular needs. We can also go deeper on more technical topics — development, systems, and tools — for people who are ready for that level.

If you have something specific in mind, reach out. The answer is probably yes.
