Privacy

Your information, handled with care.

What this website collects, why we collect it, and how you stay in control of it. Plain language, all on one page.

What we collect

When you send a booking form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email, and message, and anything else you choose to share, such as your business, phone number, and website.

With each form, we also record a few details about how it reached us:

  • your IP address, the number that identifies your internet connection
  • the city and country your IP address points to
  • the browser and device you used
  • your browser’s timezone and language settings
  • the page you sent the form from
  • the time between opening that page and pressing Send

We use these details only to screen out spam and fake enquiries, never to track you or to show you ads.

We also count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookie-free and keeps you anonymous: we see totals, like how many people opened a page.

For the length of your visit, your browser remembers which page you arrived on and the ad or post that brought you, so your form can tell us where you found us. It clears when you close the tab.

If you take one of our courses, we keep your name and attendance for your certificate and for the report the funder asks for.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to you and prepare for your call.
  • To do the work you ask us to do.
  • To learn which pages and posts help people find us.
  • To screen out spam and fake enquiries.

Who sees it

We use your information for the reasons above and nothing else. These services help us run the site:

  • Google Workspace holds our email, the messages we exchange with you, and the spreadsheet where we keep your enquiry.
  • Vercel hosts this website, provides the visit counts, and finds the city and country your IP address points to.

Some of these services store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where the laws of that country apply to it.

How long we keep it

We delete the IP address and browser details that come with a form after 90 days. We keep your messages while we are talking or working together, and for as long as the law asks us to keep business records. Ask us any time and we will delete what we hold.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email holler@weallrize.ca and we will reply within 30 days.

We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
